Sustainability

Jack & Jones is a brand owned by BESTSELLER. At BESTSELLER, we believe that people and the environment are just as important as the clothes we make.

More than 800 factories around the world produce products for BESTSELLER every day. We are aware of the fact that we can have an important influence - especially on the suppliers who produce a large quantity of our clothes. It is our responsibility to use that influence the best way possible.

At BESTSELLER, we believe that mutual trust, dialogue, training, and development are important factors that can help create a common understanding of how a good working environment should be. If we are not able to create that understanding, the effort is only superficial and unimportant.

BESTSELLER's Code of Conduct clarifies to our colleagues, our suppliers, and our customers the expectations and demands for the working conditions in BESTSELLER's supply chain. A team of BESTSELLER employees work exclusively with our Code of Conduct in the countries where our products are produced.

BESTSELLER's Code of Conduct is an integrated part of our day-to-day activities and the decisions we make. Our Code of Conduct work is no guarantee, but it helps us contribute towards improving conditions at the factories. However, it is an ongoing process which will never end. The important thing for us is that we experience continuous development. As long as that is the case, we continue the cooperation with our suppliers.

In November 2012 we launched our Sustainability Report 2011/12. It is our first extensive report describing the challenges we face in our sustainability work and the results we have achieved so far. You can read our Sustainability Report 2011/2012 here.
